What is Mindful Yogic Parenting?

Mindful Yogic Parenting is an integrative approach designed by Lori Wilen that combines yoga asana and philosophy, journaling and artistic expression, conversation and application from the mat to parenting.

In the Sunday night Mindful Yogic Parenting classes, Lori will guide yogis through a gentle asana and meditation practice connected to a theme. We will then have time to reflect on our experiences and shift into considering how the theme connects to being a parent. By carefully creating a safe and sacred community space, Lori will then facilitate discussion among yogis that will help each person identify ways to bring more conscious parenting practices into our lives with children.

No prior yoga experience necessary.
